just got a new linkbox 8000 hd need some help

I put in the new software did all the steps but it dosent connect what im I doing wrong

if you have a local box
you will need to set up the network server section which is under the tools section
go to tools section,,, enter 8282 on the remote keyboard while aiming it at the stb unit
if done correctly you should see on the screen "hidden section viewable"
with that
use the right arrow to get into the tool section
then down to network server section
with that
you will need to setup the private server
when don go to the connect section on this page and press ok on the remote
if don't correctly you will get a pop up say the server is connected
if not try again
if the pop up does come up
the server is connected and will restart up the same way each and everytime it's restarted
