"S" or "Q"?

If it's the "S" then that's the signal strength from the LNB to the receiver, type and length of coax used, plus any other stuff (ground block, coupler, switch(s)) will affect this signal.

If it's the "Q" then thats the quality of the decoded channel from the satellites transponder, the "Q" is a measurement of how much data is being corrected by the FEC codes due to noise in the signals.

85% Q is the maximum reading you will get with any Jynxbox receiver. Hook up another receiver to the same cable and it will read 95% or greater. Just a quirk with them. On the other end, none or poor Q will show as 42%
