Hi
I'm in the process of getting an HD receiver and would like some advice as to how to go about doing that.
At a the moment I am hooked up to 110 and 119 but would like to include 129.
My dish is quite small so I don't know if I'll be able to put another lnb on.
What would be the proper dish to get so I can get all three sats 110, 119 & 129?
Also I have heard a good switch is a BAFF GERMANY 4 x 1 Weatherproof Disecq
But I noticed that it is a 4X1 which I assume is for 4 sats and 1 receiver?
Is there a switch that can handle 4 sats and 2 receivers?
Or maybe 5 sats and 2 receivers (110, 119,129 and 91 and 82) The 91 and 82 for the near future)
And would the switch have to be powered?
Sorry for all the questions.
Thank you

What kind of LNB/LNBs are you using now for 110 & 119 (Standard or DP) and is it a twin or 2 singles ?

I'm sorry I don't know that.
I personally didn't do the dish, lnb & Switch setup - I had someone do that for me.
I do know what the switch is though (I know that's not what you asked) but, it's a Chiefta WSD-41C 4-way DiSEqC Switch. I know that because I still have the box.
How do I go about finding out what kind of lnb I have. Will it say right on the lnb? I could crawl up there.
Sorry, I know I didn't answer your question.

the dp lnbs will have dp on them and the legacy lnbs will not
If you currently have two single lnbs you should get another one that is the same

Ok, I'll check out the lnb's. I'm quite sure they're singles
What about the switch - what do I do there?

If you do with single lnbs you have a few options
If you go with diseqs you will need one diseq for each rcvr

We need to know exactly what kind of equipment you have in order to give you your options (see post 2)
