I successfully flashed my Linksys WTR54g v8 with goo2 and went through all steps but still not working.
Wants to know if the WTRG54g has to be connected to another router with internet access for same to work or it can be connected straight to my modem from my isp.

if you set it as a bridge then you'll need a router, remember that you need to disconnect the router from it's power source for 30 seconds (reboot) for the new firmware to take hold and check your firewall settings.

Connect direct to your modem.. there must be more equipment in the network. If so remove the other router , replace with the wrt54 connect the receiver to one of the ports (LAN) . Reboot all . Be sure receiver has correct bin (old suns bin ) with 255.255.255 . Pax
