how do you tell if your switch is faulty or if your dish has moved.

Just returned to our southern home and not sure how you tell if the dish has moved or if the switch has become faulty as I can't get feed on the two satelites I'm pointed at. Not sure if I should replace the switch or if I should start trying to fine tune the dish??????

try bypassing the switch before you do anything.
