rescan & lost channels

I did a factory reset on my receiver (viewsat ultra) and lost some channels. Already tried to rescan, no luck. Does anyone know how I can get channels back? Thanks in advance.

if it has been awhile since you last did a scan, the channels in question may have simple moved . I recently rescanned for a friend and she commented that true tv and spike tv had changed channel numbers. maybe this is your problem as well.

Make sure your TP list in the receiver is updated. Go to lyngsat.com and give it a check, the re-scan. Good luck
