Just got it last night. Installed the dvbs2 and 8psk board. Trying to scan but it's missing some internationals on 118 like it scans them in but then says no siginal when I go to it. Also when I scan 129 it won't scan any of the hd stations only the few sd channels on that sat about 40 channels or so. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? Or are one of the tuners bad?

Tried reinstalling 4 times now always same result. It won't work with either I'm the switches I have.. Only works directly connected to one lnb at a time and I can scan all sd channels in but no 8psk hd gets picked up. It shows siginal but the channels just don't come in

I have 110,119/118,129 and 91. I have a good switch that I was using on my old viewsat hd before it died. For lnb setting I have it set to Ku frequency 11250 for all except 118/119 that's set to 10750 due to the special lnb. For diseqc settings in the menu I'm not sure what option to use. There's diseqc ABCD 1234 then there's diseqc 1.1 that had ports 1-16. I'm using all legacy lnb no do or dpp equipment. I can't any switching to work properly.. But if I go lnb to reciever they all work. I also tried 2 other switches for the same result. I have it setup to the following.
91- port 4
129-port 3
119/118 port 2
110 port 1

Try the 1234
110/port 1
118/port 2
119 port 3
129 port 4
91 port 5
see if that works

very easy trick
if you have 82
set to
ku 11250
if you have s/q and say locked to NIMIQ 2 then ls400 ok and dvbs2 ok
if you have s/q and say locked to UNKOWN then ls400 not ok and may not be dvs2 not ok

Just added the 91 sat today can't add 82 because I can't lock on 82 transponders due to the problem. When I go to 129 sat it shows unknown and scans in only 40sd channels that are sd locals on that sat so it sounds more and more like a bad ls400 or dvbs tuner

Ls400 will be ok
I bet just dvbs2

Ok this box is sure being difficult. I got a rocket iks code to test out the sd channels so I have some tv for now however I'm not getting anything ok the servers. No bev or dn. the free channels work but nothing else. It's connected via eithernet and it says success I also entered the server info but I'm not getting anything on any of the channels

First of all you can't just "try" different port #'s. Go the the switch and write down what port is connected what lnb which is aimed at a certain satellite. We are presuming the dish has been properly aligned as your viewsat was working with it lately.
I'm not sure what "some tv for now however I'm not getting anything ok the servers"<<Does this mean it is working or you are getting free channels?
This box is not difficult to set up, actually it is one of the simplest, but this is providing the rest of your equipment is setup properly and in good condition especially with alignment and switches. The server you are hooked to is also has a reputation of being down or freezing more than up, so you should check to see if it is working before making adjustments to the pinwheel.
So if you are sure the p$ is up at this time and dish is aligned correctly, then try one satellite,(no switch)>check server settings, check antenna settings and scan. let us know and good luck
PS: Ports on disq switch. a=1 b=2 and so on. KU=legacy lab

Got dish working seams it was server issues. Bev is down on rocket right now. When I meant some tv i mean sd channels. My dvbs2 need to be replaced so I'm limited to what I can watch right now as the box won't scan in anything that's 8psk.

I had missing channels as well on 110, 118, 119 and 129 at start so i did factory resetand changed LNB type as below and it worked for me:
110 - Legacy Twin LNB1
129 - Legacy Twin LNB1
119 - Legacy Twin LNB1
118 - Legacy Twin LNB1
did rescan and all channels were scanned properly.

your settings are still off. I doubt you are using legacy twin Lnbs especially for 118/119. The lnb type should be ku lnb.

ok replaced the dvbs card today now it scans hd channels. my problem now is the box wont switch sats. if I go direct lnb to reciever I can scan all channels perfectly as soon as I hook up a switch everything messes up. ive tried 3 switches n the results all the same. with a switch it cant properly lock on any sats it shows siginal more then the green bar witch is an odd glitch

Friend...
I would do this:
91 set it alone to only one port on your switch ( port 1 )
Go to box and set that same 91 on port " A "
See if it works ( make sure every change on switch box has to be off )
If it works add a second lnb ( 110 ) to port 2 on switch
Got box set it to port " B "
Hope it helps...trouble shut sometimes gives us d answer the weirdest way :)

what settings are you using. 119 on A, 110 on B 91 on C, KU lnbs? It still appears you don't have this info correctly in the antenna settings of your receiver

make sure that you get the correct sat lock when you set up your sats, then scan in "auto" and "tuner1" leave the other 3 settings as they are.

if I plug 91 on port 4 and 118/119 on port 1 then I can scan and it works. as soon as I introduce 110 and or 129 nothing works. also everytime I make a change to the switch or direct lnb to reciever I have to unplug reciever power and reboot it or else it wont get any siginals. when I plug in my sat finder inbetween the reciever and the lnb or switch it looks like its struggling to send power to the lnbs

well if you have been plugging cables in and out without unplugging the receiver chances are you have been blowing the switches and either you have wrong switch settings configured or you have a blown switch

I bought 2 new switches thinking I blew the first one. my viewsat worked perfectly on the same setup. im running out of iideas as to what can be wrong. im going to try sagain from scratch this afternoon and see if I can find the issue. ive been dealing with fta stuff since the "blackbird" recievers so I know what how to setup these things n ive dealt with all the major brands since but this box is giving me one hell of a time to get working properly

ok finally got it all figured out. turns out one of the lnb are bad causing the box not to see all sats when connected. its good now. only odd issue I have now is if I try to scan 129 it wont pick up hd channels unless I manually scan each tp on 129. anyone else experience that?
