Question: what would be the transmitted MAC address if one goes through a computer via a borrowed network;

Computer connection to the borrowed ISP via a USB driven Wi-Fi antennae (with separate MAC addy).

Computer Ethernet board to router.

Home-based Router

Bridges/router to home-based router

STB box.

It would be the MAC address for the netwrk device connected to the router so in your case it would be the USB driven wifi adapter.
