A couple of days ago I picked up that receiver from Wi_tr_nics (Mississauga) on the assumption that it included the sk200 board. I just unboxed and had discovered that seemingly it doesn't have any red board showing within my view. Since it has a warranty seal, I cannot open it, but I can tell for sure, using a flashlight and looking through the ventilation slots that has nothing in red.
That's how the add was showing, and including asking the sales person at the store if indeed it included the sk200 board. He responded that he ended up installing the board on all of the T5 receivers because many people were coming back not knowing how to install the board. I haven't tried it yet. I feel I've been had. To me it looks like something that's factory installed and it's got nothing to do with sk200. What exactly am I missing if I decided to try it and keep it, or you advize me to take it back to the store, since that add was misleading?

teh T5 has a green board, not a red one.

Why wouldn't you have bought it from Leesat?

Ban hammer is correct the newer model does not feature the red module but even if it's green red purple or blue the system info will tell you

I actually had no intention of buying any receiver since I already have few. I was already at the store buying an antenna when I discovered it. By the time I began doing some research about the sk200, that when I realized I should've supported Leesat instead.
Sorry.

Isn't 8psk is to do with OTA, and has got nothing to do with sk200 board? However I could be wrong.

Absolutely, that's what exactly happened in my case, too.

I bought my box from that same store when it first came out. He is legit. The board is installed. He was more than willing to open the box and show me that it was installed and he did show me.
Just plug in the receiver, load the file and go to system info and it will show you in brackets (8PSK)

You are 100% correct. It wasn't until I loaded the files that the 8psk showed up in the System Info.
Thanks!
