It may be time to buy a new receiver. Your machine most probably needs a new bin but, money dictates, the coders will no longer support that model. You can show your dissatisfaction by buying another model, like the Jynxbox HD. Good luck.

P.S. i have the same receiver as you and I have freezing on many HD channels also.

Make sure the board is seated properly and make sure it is not running hot. i use a laptop cooler plugged into a I phone charger. I also have the same receiver and it works great.

My pixelation problem went away after adding more cooling. Like others have said, a cheap laptop cooler will do the trick.
The top of the box is not even warm and I run it 24/7.

If you don't have anything constructive to say or at least help then don't bother.

I have to totally agree with you Tor. By the way, I have a top notch lap top cooling fan on my dl hd unit and hd channels are working spot on.

It might be a bad HD board. I had just installed a red HD board w/heatsink for one friend(not that the color means anything-I've seen Red Green and Blue HD boards-they are all the same electronics). I've only worked on 4 of these receivers and only had 1 bad HD board.

This one unit Had pixilation about every 30 sec. to 1 min. only on the HD channels.
I installed a new different HD board(Blue) and the problem was solved. All units using 119 bin and all have no freezing issues.
Don't know how many others have had a bad HD board issue.
Can someone who works/repairs a lot of DL HD receivers comment?
Good luck
