Last week it happened the same thing. Suddenly the channel blacked out, stating that 'scrambled channel'. I rebooted all of the devices, after a while it came back on its own. I remember having to input the donation code again, I don't know if that's what helped bringing the receiver back up again.

Just now the same thing happened again. It's not coming back up again. It's been nearly an hour. I rebooted everything, receiver, modem, router... again and again, but nothing. The only thing I didn't do like last time it to put the donation code again. Is it normal that it loses the code? The network is showing 'connected'.

This receiver is only 10 days old. Is this sort of thing is happening on a regular basis with this receiver?

Thanks for your insight.

Not likely a receiver issue right now if everything was working well prior.

Many server issues going on right now......hang tight and don't play with it quite yet.

The dreamlink doesn't show the code when you enter it. It's made that way for security reasons. Its there, you just don't see it. You need to make sure that you enter the code correctly and also a lot of PS's are down but slowly coming back up.

I appreciate your reply.
The code must've been entered correctly, else it wouldn't have been working great for days. Of course, if for some reason the code does get corrupted somehow, there's no way anyone could tell since it's all encrypted.

There is no way that I have seen yet for the code to get corrupted if it shows connection okay then you are good to go from there on in, now there was talk of an ecm yestruday the best tall tell way of seeing if it's receiver or server is to flip to 101 and if picture comes in then it's server end if it doesn't it's receiver

Yes, correct, it does say 'Server is Connected'. Next time I'll test it by flipping to 101 and see what happens - thanks!
