HD entering IP with remote. no PERIOD

this has got me baffled. i am trying to enter my setting in network settings on my nfusion HD and for example.

192.169.2.1 i cannot get rid of the ZEROS. how to you enter a PERIOD with the remote. is this normal?

don't worry about the zeroes... enter it as 192.168.002.001
