Yeah but used to race my TAD race car there, and is famous for some speed records, especially Don Garlits, Snake Prudohmm, and
many more famous vintage racers of the beginning of NHRA. What a landmark in racing history.

Yeah... those were the days! I remember seeing the Mongoose and Snake there a few times. Then they added the motox track, speedway track, etc. You could go there 5 nights out of the week for one event or another! Too bad it had to go bye bye... but we got beer in its place... LOL!

Did you ever go to Speedway 605? I ask that of anybody who remembers Irwindale Drag Strip. Surprisingly Ive only ever had one person tell me he had been there. It was 2 offramps south of the now defunct oval in Irwindale.

God I miss SoCal... LOL!
