yeah it is a jynx ultra clone with a new faceplate, it is not a jynx box ultra of any version as the ultra has been discontinued

Well at least they bumped the DC current up so it will handle the 3 LNB's from Dish.

Looks like an improved version of an AZLink, we all knew that Jynxbox Ultra was a thing of the past. Lots of clones running around but this one looks good, must try it if the prize is right. lol

Guy on ebay is selling the Jynx V4 118.99 US Plus Free Shipping he's the same guy that sells the AZLink for 118.99 US and Free Shipping as well

I don't see how it can be a clone if its a jynxbox somebody probably bought the rights for the jynxbox when jynxbox discountinued them.The Jynxbox V4 everyone said it was a clone but the files for it work in all Jynxbox recivers I wouldn't call that a clone

ok...I wanted to be certain on this file 2.44 is safe on all original jynxboxes...I have v2 when I load it says v4...that's normal?...works great on clone...fast EPG, channel changes, & server pickup!

Sure is, just like when you loaded AZlink. Glad to have you guys posting results. Want to know the good ones and the bad also, keep posting.

This same person stated this in a post.

going to record something tonight.dont know about anyone else but when ever i recorded i would get lots of micro freezing.
That is with a regular bin, I would say it's not the file but the box that has issues.
Some people brick a box with a regular bin, I've seen it a million times.

Anything new? Had none with my unit, just notice you have to point down a bit for the remote to work but it does work fine. The voltage going to the lnbs is fine, no problems with usb or module. Ahhh very important, display is awesome.

I had to remove my then 244 file from my original jynx...slowed down things like a long time to connect to server freezes often,,,then My final decision was that the remote became unresponsive with the unit while on and off....went back to 239 works great...not as fast as I have seen with the 244 file but I do believe it does something to the box itself...that's too bad because it was good but something going on with it loaded over time...anyone else getting issues?

If your unit is original, 243 should be the firmware for that box. Many people with clones thinking they are originals, Some well built clones and some not so good. The 239 bin is good for all.

I bought this jynx v4 knowing it is a clone as a replacement for my linkbox, that went down after 5 months of use. I think it is an excellent box; the remote control is weak, it has to pointed to the box for it to work. I'm planning on buying another one.
Before you buy the V4 have a look at the new jynxbox V5+, if you buy 5 or more you can get them for less than 65 USD each.

Both will work fine, the V6 have 650 mili amps of LNB control when the V4 and V4+ have 450 mili amps, TP
