Hi i'm new here and have a question about my dish 1000.2 . With the triple inb it has a internal switch I know its a power hog so my question is do I need to use my dpp44 switch or can I just use the power inserter on 1 and my fta on port 2? thanks

No point in using the DPP44 switch if all you have is the 1000.2 dish.
My friend put the power inserter between his Jynxbox and port 1 and it works fine. I'm not sure if you can do this with every STB or not but I know the Dream Link works this way quite well.
Set up in your receiver:
Port 1-119
port 2-110
port 3-129

So I will only have to run one coax cable from the dish and put the inserter in between the receiver and the lnbs

Only if your receiver can handle the DC power supply in-line with it, some FTA receivers can others can't, all you can do is try it out, but the D1000 LNB will need the extra DC current to run it right.
