Current setup

2 Dishes 4 birds 82, 110, 119, 129
1 4x1 switch going to one tv

Want to add 2 more lines as i am wiring my basement and want to put 2 connections in different locations.

Can i just add second disq run second line then run it into a powered multiswitch so i can feed 2 or more locations in the basement.
Or can i use that 1 line coming in then connect it to powered multiswitch then run cables from switch to different locations.

Go with a DPP44 switch (if you have DP type LNB's) or a powered 4x4 Diseqc switch for standard or legacy LNB's, it all depends on what you have in the way of LNB's.

The DPP 44 switch can handle 4 satellite inputs to 4 receiver's (or 3 depending on your receiver) outputs, the DPP44 can also be cascaded to run up to 12 receivers.

i have mix lnbs, DP type for BV and circular for DN. I wanted to install the powered switch in the house where a power source is easier accessed. so iwas wondering if i could go from diseq 4x1 into a powered multi. Just trying to see what woudl be a cleaner easier way to do this as i cannot run power where my dish is located.

BV and DN use the same type of LNB, and they should all be the same type or your going to have switching problems.

The best and easiest way, is to go will all DP dual LNB's (4 single satellite LNB) on both dishes, then the DPP44 switch, it can be powered from the #1 receivers location.

You can then run all the receivers off the DPP44 switch.

Simple setup, simple switching.
