when i am watching a program on 110 then switch over to a program on 119 everything switches good . then when i go back to watch a program on 110 it comes up with bad signal. i then shut the machine off and turn it back on and watch 110. switch to 119 switches good then back to 110 again bad signal. i have tried 3 sw-21 switches and 3 chieta switches. lnb are legacy twin. if i hook them up separetly they come in at 79 signal and 98 quality so i'm thinking the cable is good. thanks for any help

the box is fussy on switches....instead of hard boots switching between channels does work and it might take a minute...i dont think its module related ..not sure if a new file wud solve it either..

If those are mounted on a Dish 500, then I would dump the old legacy LNB's and get a DP twin LNB, less to go wrong.
Are the LNB's you have now Dish/BEV or someone else's?
You can also try grounding the switch to a metal cold water pipe, or the house main AC service ground, (what ever is closer) this will cut down on any stray signals on the coax.

Dish legacy LNB's need a Dish legacy switch to work correctly, they use to use a SW44 to connect two legacy LNB's together, a SW44 will only connect the two LNB's outputs to 4 receivers, you have SAT 1 (119 LNB) 1A & 1B SAT2 (110 LNB) 2A & 2B inputs.
Here is a drawing of the hook up.

You may need to use a second coax for the receiver and run the power supply on it's own.
Or look for an original SW21 from Dish and hook it up this way.

This is for 82 and 91 but works the same way, but you should use Dish switches with Dish LNB's, less hassle over time.

If you have tried all of the above then it's ether a software problem, configuration problem with LNB settings or something in the receivers tuner.
