Ok. Back up and still showing the same stuff really.

Is there a scan option or a load channel option that doesn't give me all these channels that don't work?

Ok. Guide working a bit better. All the channels seem to be the same. Still tons not working. Not able to sort by channel number.

Any more tips? It's very time consuming to sort and then delete non active channels. There HAS to be an easier way.

I notice there is a glitch also when you go from channel 200 to channels 498 496 etc there is no picture UNTIL you go to a ppv channel like 527 528 etc etc... anyone else with this glitch?

Same issues. Can't sort by number, still tons of channels that aren't coming in. When I sort it buy name, it shows 20 espn channels. Not all of them work.

Is this what happens for everyone? Is there any way to scan/add only working channels?

In order for you to get the channels in numerical order you have to make sure when you go to channel list its on ECHOSTAR PACKAGE then Go to TV CHANNEL LIST>>>EDIT>>>>SORT>>>>SERVICE ID, HIT OK, reboot box...then you can return to guide all should be sorted in order.. 200 201 202 etc also make sure your time zone settings is correct.. you can delete until your heart is contented.. gl

This receiver is still in testing my friend.. I have been told they are working on fixes for the receiver, guess we have to be patient until then..

I've never been able to connect to any of the movie channels (all day)

Any suggestions?
I was able to connect to one of the extra sports channels to watch two small schools play ncaaB last night. Gave me hope.

PPV are not always on if that is what you are referring to. For channel issues such as not getting channel etc check with your p$ provider

It says that they're supposed to be up, just haven't ever seen any of them come up.

depends on the service. i didnt read all this thread to see if the service the guys on was mentioned, just this one page but ppv are up most everyday on the services i offer

not true, ppv up most days with the exception of thursdays which is a hit and miss but usually down on thursdays, also the server you use will determine if ppv are available
now, HD ppv are usually only up on weekends with limited HD ppv channels up
