hey there my friend just got the new pinwheel mini............he was saying the sd channels work great but he is noticing the hd channels well on bev 82 are not smooth (using beaver tv and its always rock solid).......they come in but are choppy not scrambled..........like they never did that with his nfusion..........could there be something wrong with the hd thing or tuner?

or is there a setting?................will try the dish hd later.....

just checked the s and q are both 95 on the set up

I would try unplugging the box for 30 sec and see if that clears it up. Check the hd board connections carefully with all powered down.

Maybe if not to difficult to point the dish over to 110w and see how it looks there. Hope it's not your hd board, GL

What tuner card does he have ?.. I had 2 of the ls400,s do the same , I decided to get 2 ls500,s and initially the box needed a warm up period of about 5 min before the pic became smooth or watchable . also check to make sure the module is seated securely .

yes to the hdmi cable.......its the ls 400

we locked in 82 91 110......were having a hard time getting 119 and 129........using a motor......it does not look like it lets us manually move it to adjust.........

but okay......whats an hd channel on 110.....ill try it.

edit

seams to be less choppy maybe the warming up is it..........do you leave the box on all the time?

9421 is an open one. Since it's not encrypted, if it chops up you'll know it's the receiver

The Ls 500 is similar to the ls400 , all that is noticable is that the board is blue . some people like myself has had better luck with them . the board sells for around 45 i believe. but check your seller and see if he will swap out your card first .Leesat is usually quite good with replacing that as long as you contact him and explain your issue .

He usually tests it out before he sends it, so should be o.k..
Unless it gets damaged in the mail or something.
