I have this Zinwell switch but wonder if this will work on FTA receiver. I currently have Dish 1000.2 for DN and Dish 1000 dual LNB for Bev working with SW-21 and power converter for SV 8000 HD. Also have an DPP 44 switch too but right now that switch is not use because I dont need it yet. However my newest DreamLink T5 is not compatible with these switch and cant get signal so want to try this Zinwell but not sure the reading on this switch. I have google and understand that this switch will work on FTA receiver. Any one are pro on this or currently using this switch kindly help me out if you can include diagram is absolutely more appricate,

Thanks a million

That switch will not work with your 1000.2 setup, if your bev setup uses 2 single standard LNB's then it will work, you will have to connect all 4 ports on the LNB's to the top ports on the switch and it will feed 4 receivers (only 2 cables to the 13v sides if they are a DP single or twin LNB). I don't know if there is any issues using it with the T5, you would have to ask in the DreamLink T5 section of the forum.

That is a legacy switch, it will work with 2 legacy LNB's that have the 2 voltage outputs for switching between the transponder polarity's,(+13 and +18 volts) to 4 receivers, and is Dave TV compatible, but will not work on the DP1000 LNB's.

Why would someone design an FTA receiver that would not be able to use a DP switch or DP LNB?????
