Caterham is the second team to announce the homologation for its 2014 chassis, confirming they have passed the mandatory FIA crash tests.
The Leafield-based outfit joins Sauber as the only teams to report positive completion of the frontal impact and fuel cell integrity tests, which are needed to finalize the homologation process.
“We have successfully completed the two crash tests for homologation of our 2014 chassis,” the team confirmed on Twitter. ”Great news for us!”
