Jynxbox Ultra HD v3 FW Upgrade Issue

Hey Everyone,
I am stuck and need help from someone more experienced than myself. I have a Jynxbox Ultra HD v3 Verified not a clone. I have changed the FW on it a few times without issue using the standard process (factory reset, upgrade, factory reset, power cycle, factory reset) and it has never been a problem. The last file I loaded was V243 that I got from the files section of this forum. One weird thing about this file was in system info it tells me its a Jynxbox V2 now and Firmware Version V1.2.43. I have now tried to upgrade to another V243 that works perfectly on my other Jynxbox and a V239 that I got from the files section in this forum and it will not upgrade! The system information never changes and when it does the burn flash it goes extremely quickly, almost instantly. Any help here would be awesome. Thanks everyone.

With a clean usb(formatted) drag and drop, not send a newly downloaded file to the usb and then reinstall. Let us know

Ok, tried a different USB stick, formatted it to NTFS, drag and drop firmware fie that works on other Jynx to the root of the USB. Factory reset JB, upgraded, Factory Reset, Power Cycle and finally another Factory Reset and it didn't work. Still stuck on that other firmware. Burn Flash was almost instant again.

Only using the hd loader will u be able to flash it when this issue occurs

Not an issue for me to do so, but is this a common problem? I would feel a lot better if it was and was easily fixable using the loader. I just can't try it right now because I don't have a computer with a serial port or a serial to usb at the moment. I will update you guys when I give it a shot.

had no success with a friends box other than using the serial cable and the hd loader. I would say it was 239 until they used the loader then it updated to 243.

It will show V2 because the V3 is a V2 the only difference between the 2 is that V3 came with a wifi adaptor so there is no way you can change it to V3

I have exactly same problem. Among other things I have downloaded the factory file and tried to update the jynxbox with it. It came bad with a message file too long
Please let me know if you find a solution.. It looks like we will never be able to update the firmware

you need to open the file first then extract it to the usb.
