Bad PVR Recordings

All of my SD & HD recordings have pauses & blockiness about once or twice a minute. I tried front & back USB ports & tried 2 different WD Passport hard drives - 500gb, 1tb but both exhibit the problem. Any help please?

What software are you running? like 239 or 242 or 243.
I have same comment. I have original v3 from authorized dealer way before the clone wars. Mine does similar no matter what I tried. Tried both NTFS & Fat32 format. That did not help. I used a number of different USB sticks and never found one to be better than another. Not trying to hijack your thread. Only to tell you that nothing I have done has ever fixed the problem. Now some people say theirs works fine. All I want to know is how is that? What did they do? I have been told to change bins but that never helped me. Very interested in what solutions people come up with for you.

I gave up trying to get this PVR to work. I really like this box. It has a great picture. The remote sucks. I wish I could get the PVR to work. I even bought a Harmony remote to get rid of the remote issue. So sad. This box had a lot of promise when it first came out.

NO problems with my V3 except the PVR issue. If anyone has found a solution, I'd like to know also.
