I can't get my PVR to format the lexar flash drive

I can't get my PVR to format the lexar flash drive for video recording on Pinwheel HD Mini.


I formatted in Fat32 and NTSC on computer. I try both on Pinwheel to format but message saying in in both
"media not detected". I try to format use ext2 and ext3 but couldn't get it to format.
I tried a different Lexar drive but same thing. It is the Lexar JumpDrive twist and turn type.LJDTT

Anybody get these type of flash drive to format on the Pinwheel ?

I can't.

How can I solve this problem ?

but do you have the option for low level format??
maybe that has something to do with it?

Maybe look for an older formattting program...?

The last step I am at is Pending Operation format Partition New Volume on low left column.

I am stuck there.

I am not an expert on the program but when I get to the 2nd photo that you have displayed I close the program and it says there is 1 operation pending and does the format. I would suggest that if the receiver can not format your Usb stick then maybe there is a problem with the stick.

I got my flash drive to format but it is stuck at 82% here-

What should I do ?

Why is is 72% precent on top 2 bars and 3rd bar is 82% what does that mean ?

sometimes takes a few minutes do get it done depends how big is our sd card..

give it a change to finish,looks like it's stuck but give it few minutes..

It is stuck over half an hour. So I could do anything, so I just turn off the computer.

I just put drive in front of usb outlet in front of receiver-

This is what I got-

15 gigs total in size.
14 gigs available size.

So how do I start, stop and playback the recording using the remote control ?

I follow the guide in the guide section up to no. 7, but after 7. I don't know what to do next ?????

I click the green button to start recording, the yellow button to stop recording ?

After I click yellow button, how do I find the video file to play back? I can't find any video file to play ?

I saw flash drive flashing before I press yellow button to stop so I assume video file recorded somewhere ?
Do you have to always go into the pvr menu to start and stop recording ? I am confused.

I go to recorded files in media section, I assume suppose to play the videos from there ? and it said hard drive not installed ?


What file extension is the video file saved under and where I press on the remote to find it ?
