Blind Scan

Anybody figure out how to get this receiver to blind scan? Also wondering how to get the wifi manager working as well.

Just wondering if it needs a special dongle or something for wifi. It's a shame that blind scan isn't working as its normal scan is fast and quite accurate.

I'll give it a shot as I have one that came with my linkbox as well.

i cant get blind scan to work and with normal scan it skip a few transponders, 12297, 12414 to name a few those tp have on the sd ppv channels and i cant get those to come in. even if i do a tp scan getting to signal on those tp but there are working on my NF HD

I've had no issues scanning in all tp. Did you flash the beta file after the factory file? Blind scan works quite well with the factory file, it doesn't work with the beta file.

I scanned in several sats just to see what it could do on blind scan. Sat list and many other menu items change once you flash the beta file. Basically a choice between iks or true fta.

after i scan the sats i put on the beta file got all the channels but now they are all over the place, even after i put it on all sats they still not in order.

Use either/or file. It's a beta file and still needs some work, especially the epg.

i delete the channel list and scan again now eveything working good got all channels, both north and south working now.

No problem. A bit of advise also is to always factory default after you flash a file to your receiver.

Fully aware of that bud, just stating that this receiver does work quite well on true fta.

Compared to the Eye box X5 how fast is the blind scan? How would you rate it compared to the axbox premium? Thank you

Its blind scan is slower then the x5 but much faster then the azbox premiuim+.
