Viewsat 9000 HD volume issue

Anyone else have any volume issues with the VS 9000 HD? eg. typically an HD channel is significantly louder than an SD channel. Yet for some reason on mine, the SDs are much louder. It is to the point that I would have the VS at say 90% (I don't like going 100%) and the TV volume at 45% (which would normally be really loud). If I switch to my other receiver, I get my ears blown off if I forgot to put the TV volume back down to 15-20%

that's normal with 9000hd...get used to it..not only you ........

I have the same issue as well, thought it was my receiver, good to know I'm not alone.
