What are you looking for on 58W??? All you will get is "C" band transponders in Southern Cal off that bird, there are no active transponders for Ku band for your location.

And all you will need is the DC power supply from the DPP44 switch to run the D1000.2 LNB, the LNB has it's own internal switch.

I have 58w Intelsat I get sky Mexico with NFL package I just need to setup the 1000.2 with the dpplus or dp singles lnb whatever is easyest like I said have the dp44 switch also have a zinwell 6x8 switch, as know I have sonicview and the neusat ipro 2k plus running on the 1000.2 lnb in for 58w working but looses signal for 58w often.
And like I mention want to run the sv8000 and neusat ipro 2k plus and Ilink9800 hd se together.
Thanks in advance for your help.

OK, then just run the first output from the D1000.2 LNB to the #1 LNB input port on the DPP44 switch, then the second LNB output to the #2 port on the switch, and the same for the third LNB output to the #3 port on the switch, then run the LNB output for the 58W LNB to the #4 input on the switch.

The receivers can be run off any of the DPP44 switches outputs,(one coax to each receiver) but I would put the DC power inserter inline with the SonicView receiver as the first receiver connected to the #1 receiver port on the switch.

Using the DPP44 switch you can also cascade two more DPP44 switches (and their power supply's) for a total of 12 receivers.

Diseqc switching will be:

Diseqc #1 = 119W
Diseqc #2 = 110W
Diseqc #3 = 129W
Diseqc #4 = 58W

Do not use any other switches with the DPP44, they don't like to play well with other NON Dish type approved switches.

And if you still loose signals on 58W then you may need a bigger dish for that bird.

Hi
Thank you for all your help
I'm going to do that, just on the setting for the receivers lnb power on or off? on all .And can I use one of the other two receivers for the power inserter because of the fan on the sonicview is on all the time and is annoying, on satellite 58w I get 84 signal and 98 quality you think I need a bigger dish I have a 36 inch dish?
Thanks again

When I said loose signal on 58w I mean all signal and quality I think is not dish size
Thanks

Hi
thank you for all the help

I did all the steps and I get signal from 58w but when I scan the satellite I get 183 channels only, and when I scan direct from the 58w no switches I get 249 channels and no nfl package channel any suggestions?

thank you for your help .

Sorry but that sounds like it may be a software problem to me, I do hardware only.

When you scan the TP's on 58W does the "Q" drop on some?

If so then you may need a bigger dish, why do you ask?

Because you loose signal when going through a switch, a DC powered switch like the DP44 will not amplify any satellite signal, there are very few powered switches that do.

A switch will drop the signal between 3 to 6 dB, that's a lot of signal, the only way to compensate for this is to use the best low loss coax you can, and a bigger dish to supply more signal to the LNB's.

RG-6 quad coax with a pure copper center conductor can help, it has to be rated to 2.5 GHz or swept to 3 GHz to provide the less loss.

Some receivers also do not like the DPP 44 switches DC power inserter in-line with them, it also adds to the system loss, running the DP power supply on it's own coax to the #1 receiver port on the switch can help.

Proper system grounding can also help.

Hi
If I use zinwell switch 6x8 with dp duel lnb instead of the triple head dpp lnb will it work for my set up?

That means canceling the dpp44 switch

Thank you

A "Zinwell 6x8" is a legacy switch, it will not work with the D1000 LNB, only dish DP rated switches will work right with that LNB, there are other switches rated for Dish LNB's but they have to work with DP technology LNB's.

Hi
If i use single dual legacy with the zinwell switch? not single dp

thank you

Yes 3 dual legacy LNB's will work with that switch.

the only way it works is that you switch to a single lnb I'm here in southern california and only use 2 boxes for the 4 sattellites and everything works fine with me but with the original lnb does not work

Thank you guys for all the help I'm going to see if I have the legacy lnb laying around somewhere in my storage room
Thanks again
