Hi there have a bell 2 Wire Modem reflashed with Quest software. I am running 4 laptops 3 IKS tvs and some tablets and am getting sometimes dropped on certain device so I went out and bought a TP-LINK AC1750 Archer C7 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router and would like to hook it up to modem/router to see if get better performance from it. How would one go about and do this what settings do I need to change since there is 2 routers how does one make the 2 Wire be used just as a modem. I aslo have another Bell 2Wire flashed with the Sing software.

Hi there I decided to try a ThomsonV585 modem/router and hook it up with the TP-Link AC 1750 Archer C7. I am not sure if did it right I hooked up the ThomsonV585 as a modem connected the phone wire and power button to this then added a network cable from port 1 going into the TP-Link 1750 Wan port.I hooked up my devices two IKS recievers and a majic jack to the TP-Link 1750. All seems to work good but when connect to network shows connected to the ThomsonV585 is this noral since using as modem. When try to connect to TP-Link cant but everything working through there and it is secure should it connect also. Also all lights flashing on this TP-Link 1750 is this normal or should they be all solid
