Dreamlink HD PVR recording format question ???

I have a question about the Dreamlink HD PVR recording format.

I see I have a few files after a record.
such as...

the cave.001
the cave.idx
the cave.DVD movie info
the cave.MPEG2-TS video

My question is...

What are the different formats?

AND, Is there any way of reconfigure the files for viewing on a computer, or burning to a DVD-Blu-ray disk.

AND DO YOU KNOW of any other FTA sat unit that does record in a format that can be transferred or converted to be watched on a computer or burned to Blu-ray.

You just need the .TS file. Google for at TS to dvd converter application.

not sure but think you need the idx for ff/rw functions to work
