USB Seagate not reading.

I have an external USB Seagate hard drive 500 gigabites. This USB external hard drive already have movies. I plug in the DreamLink and want to try recording something but the Dreamlink not recognize the USB connection, this USB seagate works on the SV8000 HD. any one have a solution. By the way is 32g micro sd card is enough to record just say an UFC PPV event.

Is it formatted FAT32? remember that with the DL's won't work if they're NTFS.
