New to the site.

Looking for basic help understanding FTA, then help with accessing a server for the new nano HD box.

Thanks in advance,

Ok. So I've looked over the rules and know I can't PM.

Here are some issues I'm having.

My box is up and working but it seems I'm only able to connect to approx 5-10% of the channels that are listed. I don't know all the ins and outs of programming/servers. I do know I paid for a subscription and that I don't think I'm getting what I expected.

If anyone can direct me to a different section/website/post that could offer assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you have the correct software loaded and your dish setup and settings are right. I would seek help from the forum of the paid subscription.

I think I may be looking for an alternate server, one that works.

Suggestions welcome!

Honestly before spending cash i would of read up on IKS first, your expectations of what you are supposed to get are different if you actually know what you are getting into. Regardless you dont give any info on your setup, in order for anyone to try to help we would need to know about your setup(Dish, lnb switch etc)

Also have you read through this thread http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?149924-New-receiver-out-Nano-HD

There might be some answers to your questions in there, as well this is still beta so there are still alot of issues with this box.

If youre only getting limited channels, check your lnb type....it defaults to Dishpro and does give good signal and quality but you have to change it to 11250 and then scan again. See if that helps.
