I have an original Jynxbox Ultra HD V3 with the ATSC Module and JB200 installed. I have the V243 file installed on it.
Every 2nd or third day my channel list gets deleted on its own when I turn on the receiver. The TV screen would show
"NO CH" message, and then I need to rescan all of my satellite again to get all the channels back. This is very annoying.
I even tried loading the factory file again with the loader (using PC) and re-installing V243 file. But still same problem. Does anybody know why this would happen.
Could it be something to do with the fact that I creating favorite list in Jynxbox. Any help would be appreciated.
The other problem I am having is that I can not load any channel list or any file with the USB, I always have to load the new file using the loader (using PC). When I try to load the file by USB, it loads it for few second and the receiver reboots. Any solution to this problem.

Use front slot on unit to load via usb and keep a usb stick in the back slot at all times to maintain your saved info and leave the unit on 24/7.

Aren't you put load on the receiver leaving it on 24/7 and also aren't wasting power?

It takes more load to reboot/turn on something than leaving it on. You would never see the difference of power consumed if left on as it is minimal.

Anibus, the other problem I am having is that I can not load any channel list or any file with the USB, I always have to load the new file using the loader (using PC). When I try to load the file by USB, it loads it for few second and the receiver reboots. Any solution to this problem.

Remove the coax cable so that you are not powering the LNBs then try to load the files with the usb.

This is caused by the weak dc current sent to the lnb's, it can also give you problems handling 3 lnb's from "fish".

So tried this. But now the USB drive is not detected by the receiver without the coax cable. In the menu "Upgrade by USB" is blued out so can not access it. Any thoughts?

Format the usb to fat32 then reload the firmware, turn off the box with the power switch then put the usb in the receiver then
turn the power back on, see if that works, if not try another usb.

Have done this. Now the USB is detected without coax cable, but still can not load. When I try to load the file by USB, it loads it for few second and the receiver reboots. Can not load the new firmware or the channel list.

try a factory reset then try to load the file, one more thing, to do a full hard boot you need to unplug the power from the box, the
power switch on the back of the receiver don't kill all the power to the receiver.

Who ever told you that turning the switch at hte back off doesn't kill the power to the receiver once you turn the switch at the back off it shuts the power off to the receiver if you turn the power off with the remote that only puts it on standby it doesn't shut the power off

LOL, have you ever had the main board out of a jynxbox, well I have, the switch on the back only kills the DC voltage, the AC
voltage is still there and part of the board is still powered up,lol.

After doing factory default 3 times, I tried to load the factory file and get the error message " upgrade data too large, failed,".
