My son is using a V1 limey ultra, here's what you need:

costactc so what you are telling me, is I do not need to load a factory file first, after default, I thought I had to load v1.03 then v2.75 over the factory file, to clean it right up, as it already has v2.75 installed my problem is I can not connect to the server on port 17110 with this receiver my Link Box connects with this port & never lost a beat today, when their is more Lime Sat receivers not working to day than mine.

You can load factory 1.03 then 2.75 and factory default. Scan sats and enter info and you should be able to connect. If its nfps you are using then make sure the ip info is still up as they have changed things around.

thank you for your reply, I thought it was v1.03 but I was not sure, I had this problem with it last year & this is how it was fixed I will wait till the system is back up with NFPS running steady, with signal on transponders for re scanning sats I use domain.
thanks again

What server are you using, is it NFPS or other? Limesats are working with other servers just not connecting with NFPS right now.

Nfps on the Ultra, connected as we speak without any issues.

Rocket, nfps, and beaver users are reporting issues with their ultras. 4 Limey Ultra's all running Rocket with no problem here.....I would do a factory reset on problem Ultra's and re=do factory file as well as current operating file and re-load channels (sats) and you should be good to go......cheers.....HT

Do yourself a favour, don't shut it down if it is working, just ran into that problem today at a friends house, went over there, the limey was working on DN on the NFPS, but the B3V wasn't and they wanted to get it going, so I got it going, but had to reboot to do so, and it lost connection to NFPS, now it won't reconnect!

yeah they are saying servers but I think something changed a bit in the stream.... pinwheel is blaming the inability to scan sats properly on something DN done and at the same time limesats started having connection problems on a number of different servers

Only on Nfps and Nfps-based servers.

Just checked official site, still no connecting of limesats to server!

There is a temporary server ip posted on their site they say the problem is that the firewall is blocking limesats n that they will be back up in the next few hours cross your fingers

Limesats n nfps back up

Hi.

Since the last IP change some Limesat's users are experiencing issues to connect to our servers because their receivers are doing a lot of the reconnection requests and for such reason they are being blocked by our hosting firewall.

We are currently working to solve this issue in the next few hours but in the meantime we have created a temporary Port for those affected users. The Temporary Port information is:

Server IP: 79.142.67.135
Port: 60000

As soons as the issue is solved i will going to post it here.

Best regards,
NFPS Staff.

YES I had a problem scanning, I had to scan several times, to get transponders in, the 3rd time I disconnected the Ethernet cable & had success
