I can't say for what you are doing but others have had the same audio delay issue and if it was just 2-3 seconds I dont think anyone would take great note of an audio issue (delay).. but as I said I will wait to see the next release and what it addresses.. I'm happy with the box..

I found when exiting out of the epg that it takes the receiver about 3 seconds to finally show a picture and that audio doesn't always come back but it usually does, a soft boot always works for me.

You dont have to select a specific channel thats whats great about this update.. When you select EPG guide at the bottom left corner of the screen there is a blue ICON that says FAV EPG loaidng, click the FAV button and another box will pop up that says "EPG loading YES NO" SELECT YES and the EPG for ALL channels will populate... ENJOY your 24 hours of Guide;)

Did you download and install file NANO-HD_810 ? When installing make sure you select ALL CODE+ BOOT CODE..

I cannot compare this receiver to any of those you mentioned because I do not own one.. What I can say is that this receiver Picture is OUTSTANDING both in HD and SD but even more so HD of course.. It's a great purchase in my opinion..

so nobody else is having the reboot problem? Mine is presently rebooting every single time I go into the server screen. I am also having my picture look like it is tearing apart while I am in menu. Very odd. Any ideas?

would you believe my linkbox does the same thing. if on a north channel when entering server settings for the south.... reboot...the opposite is also true..so this must be a glitch with a few boxes

Something is not right with your DHCP settings or server input..

My nano has rebooted several times when attempting to connect to server when my info was wrong, I was using caps when only lower case should be used.

The HD picture is better than the Jynx or SV-8000HD and the SD picture quality is probably the best I've seen in any stb's I've owned. Very comparable to the Limesat Air or I-Link 9600 which had good HD quality but the SD is better.

The EPG for north needs some work try going to a channel on TP 12224 for 91 or 82 and reboot the receiver with remote. When it reboots leave it for 30 seconds before hitting EPG buttton. Most channels will fill in but some don't. Delete as many channels that you don't watch anyway helps a bit too.

That's for south it doesn't have that option for north.

The EPG loading with the FAV button only shows up on south channels when you go to north channels you cannot load the EPG with the FAV button because it's not there. Same as the Linkbox's. The EPG does not fill in very well for the north 91 or 82 alot of blanks.

Great Improvements.....cheers....but the north EPG is non existant and still no audio AC3 or any audio variables in the menu....5-1 does not exist, picture is great....but this box goes back on the shelf awaiting the next file

I got the epg working but sometimes it has all the info next time only half the ch# with info ,then sometimes you play with the remote and it comes back ,other times not. is there a way to keep all the ch# info ,using 110 and 119 . thank you 2boats2

After the 810 update I did a factory default.. Then I scanned the 91 82 and 110 sats.. 91 82 epg came in nice but I don't get the channel names or a working epg for the 110 now?? All the channel names come in $Ch-9465..etc.. I also tried blind scan.. Normal scan... And the load epg fav button... Nothing....?? Any suggestions?

Possibly you need to sort the channels sid .. I have no problem with guide presently... all sats (110 119 129) when sorted gave names.

It's not the box .. I've tried everything.. I've been doing some research and a lot of people with different boxes can't get a guide on the 110 or 127 since a few days ago but apparently the 119 works.. Dis$ dropped a bomb on us! We're going to need a new fix.. When I scan bev it works fine..

I dont know what you are talking about.. My guide on 110 119 and 129 works perfectly fine on this receiver.

I do apologise for previous posts as to audio delay. I notice that exiting the guide will give you a black screen for about 3 seconds and audio does return after about 10 seconds. My previous posts on this issue were about video delay, not audio.

I had exactly the same issue, reloaded the file a couple times, did a factory default and loaded again, took absolutely forever to scan sats, and at first it did not like my 22 khz settings for my switch. I eventually got everything scanned and loaded, no epg for 110, no epg for north, and still no audio settings in the menu. I had epg for 119 only of 119/110 and 82/91....but I found the perfect fix, bring back the dreamlink.....lol
I know the file does not address north epg but this programming needs alot of work and I am mostly disappointed in the timelines to get us a decent working file.
Keep working on it Frodo, I am quite happy to bring this box out again when we get a new file, and try again....

If your settings are not correct the receiver will NOT scan like it should, I have done extensive troubleshooting on this.. First of all if you select the wrong LNB settings which there are several, the receiver WILL NOT SCAN properly, If the switch is NOT set correctly It will NOT scan ..
Seems you just want to bash the receiver and promote your DREAMLINK well feel free to promote your DREAMLINK but stop using this thread to bash the receiver..
Any receiver thats not configured correctly will not scan properly.. I have scanned Sats 110 119 and 129 with no problems, I have loaded the 810 file and the EPG is great, up to 24 hrs of EPG (well didnt check all 24 hrs :D).. Scanned 119 in under 2 minutes same for 110 and for 129 about 3 minutes or less. Settings are as follows..
LNB Freq ....DishPro LNB (11250)
Diseqc1.0. ..PORT 1 (119)
Diseqc1.0 ...PORT 2 (110)
Diseqc1.0 ...PORT 3 (129)
22K OFF
First scan in 119 then 110 and last 129.. gl everyone..

On the contrary, I am not bashing this box, I think it is a solid box and will do well if they ever get the programing corrected and they seem to be taking their sweet time. I currently have a closet full of coolsats, viewsats, neosats, nfusions and a couple limesats, even an old fortec. I am testing a dreamlink and jynxbox at the moment and I pull the dreamlink to give this box a shot, and put the dreamlink back, it could be my jynxbox or limesat, that is not the point. To me this box is not complete in the programing and it will sit on the shelf till it is, this thread is to discuss the new file, why do you...want to bash me for voicing my opinion? That is not what this thread is for either.
This file is still incomplete, I wish they would fix it sooner than later.

I have been around this a long long time, a very long time, I know the settings and take offence to your post, your port settings will not work with my switch, I run a 13x8 EMP, 3 ports 22 khz off, 3 ports 22 khz on. This box could not lock onto any sats set to a port with 22 khz off, It took a ton of reboots to get that to work...not settings....and I had the same issues as the member who asked if any one else was going through the same thing...I had the same experience...it was not my settings, you need to lighten up dude

Totally agree.....I have almost as many stb's in the closet and never had a prob with my settings before. I also like the box and when the epg comes in for north and south, I will have it back up and running for sure. It does seem like others are having the same prob but the box is new and I get it.
I have 91 in port 1 and 119 in port 2 and 110 in port 3 and have had it that way since before I had a coolsat so that cant be the prob.

All I ever said was due to my displeasure with this box at the moment, I am putting it back on the shelf and putting my dreamlink back in. I bought this box to replace the dreamlink but at the present it is pointless to hook it to my audio system, totally frustrated to watch any north channels with no guide, only part guide for south, why would someone suffer through that when you have a perfectly functioning box you just took out...sorry it happened to be a dreamlink, next time I test it I'll pull the jynxbox then you can accuse me of promoting the jynxbox when I shelf this nano, I have been through these settings and am no stranger to this game, and you have offended me, this box at present, the way it is, does not even compare to my old limesat which at least has AC3 audio and a complete guide, is ten times more user friendly...so I stand by my opinion, the nano is back on the shelf till a new file comes out

Ok i think i may have solved my problem. My settings were correct. It was the Bin. It will not scan properly for me when Scan Channel - TV + Radio is selected. When changed to TV ONLY, it scanned properly. Here is what I did.

1. Factory reset
2. choose sats in satellite list
3. setup sats in antenna setup
4. single satellite search 119, 110, 129, etc.
5. change Scan channel from TV+Radio to TV Channel
6. Scan Start
7. When finished, reboot to sort SID

I would agree, its very aggrevating but does not occur 100% of the time, more like a crap shoot, some channels get the audio back instantly others within 2 secs and some as long as 20. No consistancy, that's an issue I would love to see resolved asap, lol.

I'm an installer by trade, have done many either via EMP super switch or via 4x1Discq with 22khz. Have not seen an issue yet using 22khz with these boxes. That's with about 10 installs so far.

I have installed a couple over the winter, but watch for it, I am wondering if my box might have a defect. To be completely honest, I rebooted a good 5 times and could still not get two sats, port one and two 22 khz off, to lock in, and the scan was incredibly slow. I actually left to clear the snow in my driveway, came back a half hour later and the power had gone off, and now those sats were recording signal and strength and locking on, thats one big reboot...so, not one other machine here has issues with my switch, nor the location or output I am on. Either way, this box's programming is still to incomplete for me to be impressed or for me to use this box for now, we shall see what the next file brings

I actually left to clear the snow in my driveway, came back a half hour later and the power had gone off, and now those sats were recording signal and strength and locking on, thats one big reboot...so, not one other machine here has issues with my switch, nor the location or output I am on. Either way, this box's programming is still to incomplete for me to be impressed or for me to use this box for now, we shall see what the next file brings

Well like I said before, installed 10 and no issues other than the small bugs reported, maybe it is a defective unit. Best way to check is bring it to someone you know is running a setup similar and hookup and test. A have a sneaky suspicion either the box or the ls500 is bad.

Got it up and running after trying a few times.

One thing that I hate is having to delete inactive channels every time I load a program.

A couple things I noticed different from my last program (297?)
EPG is awesome, accurate. My last program was good during the guide mode but on screen was incorrect
The recall button (bottom left) now just takes you back to the last channel rather then bringing up your last 10, not sure if I like this, when watching a few games at the same time.

I had this problem and had to scan in a particular order and settings to get the SID names to show up. Depending on your setup, copying others settings may not help.

To help figure it out we would need to know what dish, sat settings, scan order, scan settings, etc.

Ok....after more playing with this, I figured out that I had 110/119 backwards in the settings and when I did another factory default and rescanned....I got the full guide working now for north and south!! And figured out that the Harmony remote I have works the same as my Nanosat SE as with the Nano HD perfectly.
With all this working now I can finally put my Nanosat SE to bed.

Ok...Well, the guide for North didn't last long....Was good for all channels at first. Maybe a reboot would bring it back. Sorry for jumping the gun. Was just glad that I finally got the guide for South. Will play around again later and see how I got the North guide to show up.

had a chance to play with the pvr and try a couple of features, straight up recording works, timeshift works great, playback of recording was smooth, set up a timed recording and stb switched to the saved channel that was set up prior and at requested time to start and stop, overall the pvr works well for those who might want to take advantage of it, I used a LaCie 500g drive,
if a few major bugs get fixed like getting a complete scan and sorting of channels properly and getting certain lnb and switch combinations to function right plus fixing the north epg the nano HD will be a very nice HD receiver if someone is looking for a new box as the HD picture alone is fantastic and the SD is surprisingly very good along with a decent selling price imo

If its the port contact your reseller .. if your information is correct and you do have internet it will connect

Make sure you enter the port info twice.

Yes you can delete just one channel. I am not in front I my box so I can't tell you how to do it. The epg for dish you go into the guide and press fav button. Then it will ask to update the epg so click yes.

To delete individual channels go to MENU>>.EDIT CHANNEL>>>TV CHANNEL LIST>>>EDIT>>>DELETE... select whichever channel, there will be 2 arrows at bottom of screen to select (Block select < >Single select) gl..

I'm having the most difficult time with this receiver ! I started out by flashing bin 810 and performed a factory reset on the receiver . I have a 1000.2 set-up and I scanned 119, 110, 129 . (119 port 1 ) (110 port2) (129 port3) 11250 . I was able to connect to my p$ one-time , after I realized that I had to use capital and lowercase characters . I shut the receiver off, because all the channels were saying no signal.My s and q is just fine, I have no issues on my Dreamlink hd. I done another factory reset and I'm still unable to connect to my P$. I noticed that when i done the factory reset the following messages actually appeared: DHCP success, networked connected, connecting to server please wait.. Once I enter the network settings to connect to the p$, I never see those messages again .I did get to see picture on the preview screen and thats it. The port number is entered twice , url is correct, des # correct also . I tried my p$ on my Dreamlink hd and everything is working fine . I'm thinking that I may have a bad receiver .. Any input would be appreciated

Humm it seems like this box has the same issues as the Linkbox 8000 HD, (sound delay, epg). After looking at both "files" it seems they are the same size too. I wonder if you could use this bin on the linkbox or the linkbox bin on this box.. I'll give it a try and let everyone know.

have not found away to loose the record icon when recording and do not think there is a way at this time, I was impressed the way the pvr works including timeshifting and being able to record one channel and watch another channel that is on the same tp also having the recording timer feature work switching to saved channel and stopping at the saved time, nice to have the pvr working decently

When you select EPG on the screen bottom left there is a blue button if you dont want to wait for guide to populate just hit the FAV button on remote, this will bring up another screen just select YES and wait for it to download..

the on;y other blue I see is it is on right side and says toggle epg.to tell you how I do it is I hit epg button and it takes me to a screen that shows channels with a blank bar next to it that would be filled in if I had epg and pic of ch. that is on is in right hand upper corner and at bottom left it has fav button with epg loading next to it.so when I hit fav it saysepg loading yes or no and I hit yes and that is when pic goes blank and I have to hit ch. up or down to watch

Is there something you need to do to use the Wifi Adapter. Using the Wifi Adapter from Jynxbox, does not work. Under the menu the "wifi" option is greyed out.

Dunno about the jynxbox adapter.. get the one I posted its very cheap and works very well.
