The thing is that the T3 HD is working properly and is connected with the same equipment. I verify the DL100 module and is installed properly too.

Try changing the sw ports... if that doesnt work .. connect the cable directly to the LNB.. Report the findings..

I have the same problem, two of the older Dreamlink HD(DLHD) boxes, in the same house, play fine, but when I installed a 3rd Dreamlink T5(DLT5) hd box it freezes/pixelates ALOT!

If I take one of the older DLHD boxes and swap it out for the DLT5 the channels TEST fine!

So it can't be connections (rg-6 or cat5) or diseqc sw or poor signal/misaligned dish!

Is there a heat issue with the new dl100 module or maybe some software updates are needed?

From some post I have read there is an issue with heating and some have even recommend a fan of some sort to keep it cool..

From some post I have read there is an issue with heating and some have even recommend a fan of some sort to keep it cool..

but right from the git-go? I'm not talking about 20-30 minutes after turning on, this is with in minutes! I'm using the foam heat sink.

beings it's 27f degrees here, i'll just put it outside?? 8^)

btw i edited above post to include the diseqc switch, as it was not a contributing factor when swapping the DLHD for the DLT5!
