Hello,

Just got my T5 a few hours ago and having issue with not being able to enter any ps info. Every time I enter say the port and click the down arrow or exit, save, nothing takes...just all ******* What could I be doing wrong here guys:innocent:

Here is the info... Is the file on the box the issue? This is how I received it but maybe this is an old file?

Model - DreamLink T5 (8PSK)
Load V _ L 1.00.00
Hardware V - HT_V20 1.00.00
Application V - V 1.02.00
Build date - Oct 28 2013

Thanks for any help

Thats the way dreamlinks work once you exit out of the the url/IP it goes to all ************* so you have to be careful when you put your pS info in double check it before you exit cause once you exit you can't see the URL/IP same with port ,user, password ,and des keys

Thanks guys I got it. I just come back here to check the posts and had to laugh. Everything is working fine but what is that file Make2Dream? I tried this but for some reason the dos screen keeps coming back as "not enough memory to run this program".

I changed the .exc to an .exe and it converted to an application file but no way I could get it to produce a HDB or a .SDB file.

Strange thing is the instructions mention a Make2Dream_T4 folder but I show no such folder from the zip file.

So can anyone say that I have the latest file installed? Thanks for your help:yeaah:it's been fun:laughat:

Thanks holly, believe it or not I was going to leave it for the night but when I was in the ps section all showed off. For some odd reason I scrolled back up to the top and over to the right and there it was...Lol. I knew then it was saved. I waited for the popups to show connected and everything works as it should.

I was going to come back here and post how when I clicked on "check connection" it showed as connected and I could not see how:stop: The Dreamlink had me beat but...funny thing is I had it right all along;)

Mine says 1,2 so that's great and a b*v epg too. I'm getting freeze every 15 sec on then off so I'll try a reboot again and see.

Should I load that channel file that's available? I have some channels that only show the channel number and no info in the guide that I know should be there.

Sometimes it will take a while for the guide to populate on DN but as long as S/Q are good i would think its your P$ causing your freezing, for example if you try nfps for b3v.

Ah yes I agree but, I've had what seems to be the best out there and for months its been pretty well freeze free...not like this. I may for the fun of it reconnect my pinwheel and see. I know the last few days there has been a few problems with my ps but it's been great.

This DL T5 runs a motor mighty fine, I like the little bar graph showing the motor is moving. No problems so far in this department and I have 4 sats scanned in. Just reminds me of old times with my sv8k which now has problems with the north at this time.

Anyway, I will keep testing this new box out and report any major issues but again, so far so good!
