1 - *MAJOR FIX* - Fixed the southern satellite scanning issues. If you are using any file from 2.0 - 2.9 and have suddenly started to get strange scanning issues for any southern satellites then please use this file now! It seems that a few days ago, southern provider changed stream data slightly and due to that the 3rd party dvbs2 tuner & 3rd party 8psk Tubro module LS400/LS500 were not properly scanning the satellites and were producing really strange results during the scan!

2 - Accidentally, 9000 VLC got removed from 2.9 for mini/pro models - FIXED! Now you can enjoy your satellite reception again on any VLC enabled device such as ios/andriod/pc/mac/linux.

Please note that, we highly recommend backing up your server list / channel db file / auto update+messaging url before loading this file as you will have to re-setup everything.

Tested on iptv version , scans well and all looks normal after each scan , only issue i have come across tonight is , inputting weather location ,hitting save , and unit locks up and reboots . Still hoping for a north guide fix , but Live scanning was def a more important fix at this time . Keep up the good work and timely response on this latest fix .Have not tested vlc , but more testing to come .

I just downloaded the Pro file with no problem. Looks like whatever problem that existed yesterday has been remedied.

Tested Vlc within home network and on smart phone with network mobile settings and was able to watch what was on the box through wifi too , just wish i could remotely change the channel with my phone if was out of town or away from my home . that would be cool :thumbsup:

same issue as frost to many missing tp's went with the system db for issues resolved didn't notice any thing better with this file for a 2 month hiatus though not mentioned in release notes no fix on external hdd connected boots you out of server so you can not have your pvr set and ready
yes vlc is fixed but works just as good as 2.8 file does

Well it definatly pulled in more channels......i was having problems with 129 this tine got just under 500.....4 somthing

I've run into issues with this bin or maybe its just me. I did a scan on all sats took a long time as usual but when I go into the channels they are all mixed up. it says the nhl channels on bev are the 129 a lot of the channels have no name and the channels I thought I'd get back with no signal issue are still not signal. now I don't think its on my end because all the other boxes I use have plenty of signal. so I don't know if its this bin, this box or something I'm doing wrong. anybody else having these issues.

Is your switch set up properly friend ?
Something sounds off there...i have 5 lnb running here scan was real good and no signal issue here !

ya I'm pretty sure its all good it switches on the above telling me its the right sat when I change the settings the signal bounces up and down when I change the tp and it stays on the selected sat. when I scanned before I didn't have the issue with the channels being mixed up and all out of order.

like scooby8888 I have the exact same issue mine are mainly on the 110 with no signal most ppv no signal and when put other box it is there
so not my end
went crazy before 3.0 was released bought new switches cables and lnb to the same end result

Rescanned all my satellites after installing 3.0 and found that the stations come in much faster both on DN and BEV. over 500 channels on each sat with DN.

I have seen similar no signal on a freinds, it acts like a screwed up LNB other than it is intermittent. The complaint I had was on channels around 169, 170 etc. Think this is Nickelodeon bunch but sometimes they work flawless and other times they simply have no signal whatsoever

exactly !! I've only noticed the tlc, history around there I think I thought I was loosing my mind watching a show then clicking back then no signal. I was literally yelling at the box lol.
