Channel Renumbering

Love the T5. Does anyone know if there is a way to renumber the channels? I would love to have all channels in sequence for example: TRU SD is channel 242... I would like to renumber TRU HD as 242HD. I can rename the channels but I can't change the channel number. Can it or has it been done?

I have tried to do that with no luck either. If some one have it done i will hear for that answer too.

yes,I have done mine. Turn off Renumbering by SID,Menu Options Renumbering by SID off! Then you can name you're HD Channels like I did say syfy_HD then exit to save Then You can choose to move the channel any where,I moved each HD Channel Under the SD Channel. Also choose to sort by Alphabet and you will have it. You can still change back N forth to Sid sort on or off when u want and and Delete all the Channels you don't Need.(The ones that Don't come in) I hope this helps some of you guys out. It works Great for me.

I have to say that I like the T-5 now that I finished the list. It makes things much easier than before. I hope this helped some others also! Happy Testing!:thumbsup:
