No sound on MKV files ?

I am using Pinwheel HD Mini.

Is there no sound on MKV extension video files when played on the video media player ?

Or is there audio settings to turn it on somewhere ?

Because all the MKV files I play don't have audio when I play them.

I don't have problem with avi files.

This is a problem , I am also having issues playing any mkv files , No sound is available , perhaps if they were to add more codecs or integrate them , that would be greatfully appreciated .
