Is obvious, the more equipment the more volts are generated by the caps in order to send enough voltage to the lnb. Terry can give us a schooling of the process. The fans will do fine,I'm installing one using the easy technique I posted, of cause a smaller one.

Fibroso

Alibaba is the home to all clone manufacturers, as I mention before, some are good units and others are not. Done try 245 on this unit and is working fine so far. To my surprise it reads on the stb info AZlink v244. Make sure to do a factory default after loading. So this bin is the AZlink new version. In a way I like it cause AZlink happens to be the best clone in the market. keep testing and reporting. Soon will hit the sd recording and report.

I practically destroyed this unit and got it back to work, passed it over to my partner so he can do some field testing. You see we can't get 129 or Amazona here in PR but it can be done in our closest neighbor Dominican Republic so I sent it there for some more testing. It seems that someone is hurting about all this but you can't stop progress. :innocent:

Why do people by at places that are known for selling CLONES when you can go to LEESAT or other places that do not sell clones

I mean to save 10$ you run the risk to get a CLONE..... not worth it IMO

for some its not about just so called free tv, its about testing be it new devices or technology, there are some people out there who get practically every unit to try out and see how technology has either improved or declined or has features that differentiate one form the other.

You comment just shows you dont do that, and i bet you you xxxx and complain when your porn is down for a day or 2.

My cousin just got a Jynxbox v5 (might be a AZ box) loaded with 3.2.45 (not sure about the 3 in that #) but it works fine. I know it is some kind of clone but it works pretty good. Shows in specs that the LNB voltage is 650 but I dont believe it. Seems like it needed the power inverter (dpp44) to work although with the other Jynxbox v1 turned on the v5 seem to work ok on a 1000.2 dish looking at 110 119 129. My yard man ordered one from China and it may be here by Friday - when I help set up the other box and see how the 1st one is doing then I will write a short review. For those that are thinking of trying 2.45 I would guess it will work fine on any of the v4 or v5 and probably the clones on v3

I just got one based on Fibrosos input, good picture quality, no freezing with 2.44 or 2.45, can not tell the difference between the 2 bins at this time, im only on 110 & 119 for now until i get a 1000.2....I paid 119.00 and compare to my nanosat se this jynx clone is light years a head....the v4 has no fan but it really does not get that hot that i feel i need to install a fan, maybe when i go to the other dish hitting sat 129 (hd) might get hotter but so far is a great little box specially for the price.

Again can anybody tell the difference fron bin 2.44 to 2.45?

Hello to all. I have one of these boxes and have some questions. I have read a lot and found the necessary files to convert to Azlink but I have some doubts and need some help. I found the 243 azlink file to convert the box and it includes the factory file. My first question: do I need a loader to install the bins to the box or can I do it via usb? If I have to use a loader, where can I find it? The other clone files that I need are the ones in the Jynxbox clones Files section? My box is actually in the V1.2.39 Firmware Version but I would like to upgrade up to de 2.45 and do the testings that you have done. Thanks in advance for your help.

Nevermind. I figured it out. I had to put the az-link 243 bin directly without the factory bin because everytime I tried to put it in the box it gave a message that the file was too big. I put the 243 and the 244 and it worked. I'm re-scanning the satellites right now. Thanks!

I checked what you told me about the Dreamlink remote controls and they both look alike. I see no difference between them. Maybe the color. One is black and the other is dark gray.

Okay I've had my 4.2 clone now for about a week, running very solid with 2.39 file that was factory loaded. So far I can say next to no freezing on the box, I been able to record in both SD and HD I have not had issues with freezing or pixelation during playback (Was not the case with either my V1 or V2 originals) I am currently not running any cooling , but can confirm the box is fairly warm to the touch so would suggest the addition of cooling just to be safe. Stick to clone safe bins. Unit is the same size as Dreamlink T4/T5 boxes and has JB200 built in with the add-on slot for additional card. The one draw back that I see is no remote extender and the need for a pretty direct line of sight for the remote, but other then that it seems to be a decent investment.

How is it working with the Diseqc switches? the other ones like V3 clone have many problems sometimes switching from one sat to other just with regular legacy LNB's.

Seems to be working okay with the diseqc switches, I have one hooked up on an EMP and the other running through a BEST. Switching 4 birds.

Mine is working just fine with diseqc. Pointing at 4 birds. Another thing that I don't like of this box is that it has no power switch on the back and I have to unplug the box when I need to take the coaxial off the box. But it's a very good box.

Did you check if there is any voltage going through the tuner after turning the unit off with the remote?

I'm having a big issue with this box. Hope that someone knows the cause and/or the solution.

As I said before, I have to unplug the power cord everytime I want to pull the coax off the box. The problem now is that when I plug the power back, the receiver does not turn on (no BOOT in the front panel). I have to unplug/plug many many times until the receiver at last decides to turn on. Sometimes I let the receiver plugged and it gets very hot but doesn't turn on. What could be causing this and how can I solve it?

Next time it does this, take the top case off? Mine has done this a couple times and I noticed that as soon as I did this it would power up properly. I think that mine is something grounding out inside the box.

Thanks for the reply. I had done this with the top case off several times before asking for help but it does not power up either. As I said, after plugging/unplugging way over a hundred times, then it finally powers up and boots. Thanks anyway for your advise!

Done that, no positive results. It's a hardware issue being that this unit don't have a on and off switch in the back.
