It is my understanding that the WWE PPV, "Elimination Chamber" will not be on PPV this Sunday. It's not listed on any of the "order" DN channels. And, the only way it can be seen is by joining the new streaming WWE Network for a minimum of 6 months. Big mistake by the WWE if this is the case. Can anyone confirm this?

It is not a big mistake by the wwe at all the network will be huge and 10 dollars a month for a ppv that is 60 dollars is awesome. Meaning people won't have to steal the ppvs. It's dish that is being morons they think this will hurt the wwe lol no it won't in fact it won't hurt them one bit and will actually bring more people into the network next week.

Dish Network has dropped WWE PPVs for the foreseeable future.

the WWE Network doesn't actually launch until the morning after EC.

The WWE network will survive a year at best. It's doomed for failure. They already tried a version of this (I forget what it was called) that was a bust and this will be too. Cable and Satellite made them what they are today and they'll miss the providers more than the providers will miss them. Check out this opinion:

ya they better renegotiate with cable providers....streaming is useless....sure many wont like it if not on TV.

See you in a year then and no they didn't try this it was on demand channel and barely anyone had it this is fully streamable with on demand too. It is 24/7 channel that plays something every minute of the day. I love how the person above me posted an article stating it will fail because it's not on tv guess what most people now days have Xbox 360 or ps3's and ps4's hooked up to their tvs guess what it's on all of those systems but the crappy xbox one. Oh and it's funny the article states that they wanted to make a network like HBO guess what they did make one just like HBO. HBO GO that is and HBO go is huge now so is netflix.

Ok, see you in a year! You think HBO.go is huge? I for one don't like to watch shows on my tiny cell phone screen, ipad screen and all the other devices that don't have at least 42" of HD :) and I'm sure there are a lot of peeps over the age of 20 that feel the same way.

No one is going to buy the network for the phone it's for their gaming systems which are yup you guessed it HD. But nice try.

Totally agree with the above statement.
WWE screwed up big time here because they are not willing to lower the price of the PPV which both DN and DTV offer for satellite subscribers.

I am not a fan of watching WWE ppvs on a tablet or phone either.
For goodness sake I got 72 inches of greatness on the wall and when UFC is on, its on baby.

We will never know the true stats because WWE always fudges the numbers when it comes to PPV buys, etc and I am sure the same will happen here with the network numbers.
Hopefully WWE and Dish sort things out because there is a large number, a large number of people who want to watch it in the traditional way.

Believe it or not...there are a lot of mature people over the age of 25 that don't own a gaming system...but nice try. We own better and bigger toys and have better things to do than play games :)

there is always a lot of ways to watch, a legit sub is one option as well but I don't think WWE is going to suffer from it and it is about time somebody yanked the horns back in on corporations like DN .... maybe Vince can have a special handicap match with ergen & gee

I assume Dish dropped the WWE because of the launching of their new streaming network. This new network is a BIG mistake by the WWE and will eventually cost them millions in revenue and viewers . It appears that GREED has made them forget they are where they are today because of cable & satellite programing and PPVs. I'm like most others, if I can't watch it on my 83-inch Mitsubishi, I won't watch it!

no doubt in my mind that wwe is greedy but I think it was probably the other way around and I am betting that what they are going to charge for their own network is probably what they also charged DN...

Hope all you want, won't happen. Hd ppv on north won't be something you will see anytime in the near future, if ever.

I believe it is (and has been) provided on North. Just because the iks sellers don't provide it doesn't mean Bev subscribers don't have the option to purchase.

I responded to a question regarding iks servers, not providers.

That was not clear in your response...you made no mention of IKS servers, but I should have looked at the post you responded to to see that it said northern ps'ers
