Just a quick note after playing w/ multiple V1, V2, and V3 units, that under normal operating conditions, even in 33 ~ 34 °C ambient temperatures, unit really is only slightly warmer than ambient. However, when server is down or is having problems, unit starts getting really hot, probably beating itself to death sending out requests for a return of CW's. Just an observation that after years in this business has been observed for these receivers. Possible reason these units have a very high failure rate, especially the JB-200 modules.
