Hello all. I'm going to try and be as detailed as I can be to avoid unnecessary questions as to what I have already tried. Here's the problem.

I'm using a NFusion HD stb with the assistance of a Linksys Goo router. I'm currently on Beaver NORTH and SOUTH.

NORTH is no problem...........connects just fine. It's SOUTH that is giving me headaches.

It WAS working just fine then all of a sudden, it gave up the ghost and WILL NOT CONNECT.

Here's what I've tried so far:

I have changed to all 3 urls and 3 ips, individually, hard reboots each time I tried a new one.........no luck.

I even tried the old 103 ip address with no luck.

I have Factory Defaulted my STB, rescanned all 5 sats (82,91,110,119 and 129)..... so a clean install. Nothing.

I have completely rewritten the script in the Goo router to make sure there were no faults. Nothing.

I pulled out my old Nano2 and hooked it up. NORTH comes in just fine, SOUTH shows "Connection 1" but nothing comes in.

I know it's NOT the NFHD, as the unscrambled channels (101,102,201,9421) come in just fine. The fact that there
is nothing coming in on SOUTH on a second STB tells me that there is something wrong with my code.

I asked in another thread if there is more than one port for the SOUTH, but no one took the time to answer.

After everything I've been through with this, that seems to be the ONLY thing left that could possibly be wrong with this.

NO settings have been changed. IT JUST STOPPED WORKING ON SOUTH. Once again, NORTH is fine.

I see many other posts saying the same thing, either NORTH or SOUTH being down.

Any assistance would be much appreciated. Just so you know, I'm no NOOB in this area, but this has me stumped.

Have you tried asking the person who sold you the code if he could check it? That would be a logical 1st step. I have heard of peeps leaving it too long on a non working channel and being blocked. Just an idea

There is only 1 port for south. 3 ips and urls.
Have you tried a complete router and modem reboot?

Sorry you took such offence to a very frustrated member.

In any event, I didn't give up, and went as far as inputting another SOUTH provider into the Goo router script, replacing Beavertv.

I guess it just needed a "kick start" from another service, as it (South) fired right up.

I then went back into the script, removed the other server, input Beavertv info again and voila, South is up.

Let's see if it comes up again tomorrow as I'm headed to bed.
