WWE personnel set up stretcher-related items near the production area prior to the John Cena injury angle on Raw, according to a correspondent in the arena for Prowrestling.net.

It further adds to our report of WWE scripting an injury angle as part of the Cena vs. Bray Wyatt feud leading to WrestleMania.

According to DotNet's correspondent David, the production team carried a backbrace board and stretcher to the side of the staging area in anticipation of Cena needing to be "helped out of the ring" after the Wyatts attacked him.

Cena sold as if he legitimately injured his knee, prompting WWE to follow through with "medical updates" on Raw and on the post-game show on WWE Network.

It's possible Cena tweaked his knee, augmenting the planned angle from a more thorough beatdown, but our sources citing backstage information at Raw indicate Cena was fine afterward.
