My plumber has a issue with his Nano HD connecting to the network through ethernet. It seems the ip address that is in the receiver is stuck on 192.168.1.12 with DHCP on. But the router has assigned that ip to another device on the network..when he turns off DHCP and inputs 192.168.1.19 which is the next one open in his router and then turns DHCP back on the router doesn't see it.. and he cannot find the MAC address to do it static IP.. He would really appreciate any input into this matter.

My plumber has a sonicview hd and when he connects the ethernet to it, connects no problem.. but the Nano HD with DHCP on the ip and dns don, t match the ip of the range of the router..and seems the numbers will not change.. have tried unplugging modem, router, receiver.. and factory defaulting, putting latest factory file, and latest 3rd party file.. still no luck

DHCP is going to automatically assign an IP once turned back ON so in order for him to keep that static IP then DHCP has to remain OFF... So leave it as off and just exit the Local network settings..gl
FYI.. you only need the 810 file and when installing choose the ALL CODE + BOOT CODE..
