Any one had issues with nano hd overheating ? Bought a new box and it just reboots every few minutes after it has been running for five minutes, I placed a cooling fan under the box and it lasted a little longer but not long enough to get past setup and scan. The box then shut down and is only showing a single line on the front display. Is this box pooched

I would get a hold of the place you bought it from and see what they say or just send it back,i think your the only one that has that problem.

Have you removed the plastic from the outside of the box?

I always slap a laptop cooling fan on hd boxes just as a precaution as the internals have been altered by the module insertion.

Havent received the fan yet but just thought of something......Can I plug it in the usb in the back of the HD unit? Havent tried that port yet and hopefully the fan will turn on and off with the receiver......

May depend on the version of the Hd module. With the LS500, seems to be running fine and feels warm at most with no rebooting etc.
