Hi all! I was wondering, does anyone no if bell 5900 still working to use even tho its outdated. let me no thx.
You can still test with that. Just need a JTAG and AVR. If I remember correctly south had the DVR 501/508/510 where the two latter ones required a vidmod as well but I could be wrong. The only real difference was hard drive size, they all ran the same exact fw.
Another note if you change the IRD#/BK you need to remarry the hard drive with a older fw.

I have 5700 and a pvr5900 sitting on my shelf..
Haven't done anything with them,.. I think they are outdated..
Good question you got here... I'm gonna have to watch and see what other's say.. I too am curious.. thanks

no such thing as a 5700
bell is slowly phasing out their sd models
soon they'll be useless

yes, the 5900pvr is still supported by bell, have that subbed..
