I used Lobo for a very long time and was very good. I'll say that Beaver was much better. I found with Lobo I didn't get all NHL games even after rescanning. No JetsTV or LeafsTV. The US sports channels were on very rarely. That was the only reason why I left. Other than that the server was up 99% of the time and the resellers are great people. I dealt with Zoogor and he was a pleasure to deal with.

why it shut down.....? not officially stated, but appears to be some legal issue. Hopefully all works out for them.

Unfortunately from talking to my plumber who has a Bev sub and my carpenter who moved to the States and has a Dish sub they are far from perfect....pixilation, blackouts, audio and video problems, loss of channels. including closed caption problems no mater how many Customers complain, and yet they want to come down on people who go with IKS which is not normal. They should work on their own subs first to get them working at 100 percent.

Lol if you knew this game at all, you would know that circumventing the DMCA or RCA, or wiretapping, is indeed a federal offense. Ask the 105 end users that have either been through, or going through the US federal courts now. These are federal statutes they are being taken to court on. I aint even going to go into what people have done for testers, real testers over the years, If you knew the game you would of already knew. It never ceases to amaze me how after so many people have gotten letters and warnings about posting in public just doesn't get into their thick skulls.
People we are trying to give you a polite wake up call and you sit there and continue to incriminate yourselves in the open.

Hello, new user here on south, was working great for first couple of days but suddenly tonight the viewsat is either displaying no audio/video on the channels, or right now it is playing and freezing every few seconds. Checked the logfile and it's full of these messages on every other packet:

Any ideas how I'm supposed to troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance

I think the original poster had a legit question but it got out of hand quick. There is a few good servers. Paying by a burn card is better, but remember everyone, they will have email addresses and ip addresses anyways. It's a hobby and everyone should have a legit paid subscription.

The second one he is telling the folks that beaver is not coming back and for good reason and to move on to another server. Just because you don't see the reason either from him or from me or whoever, one would tend to think ok, there must be a valid reason especially when more than one person is suggesting to move on. Especially when it comes to pirating/stealing tv and breaking Federal law.
I already explained the last 2 you quoted. If someone attacked you in the forums would you not respond in a defensive way? Think about it.

simple facts, the reason the original question is a joke, the bigger the server becomes name wise, the larger target it becomes. and then there are the users that decide to post a play by play as to the status, up/down, can we get this channel, Larry Flint giving the skin report any time there is a change in a channel status. first off, you are doing something that has legal ramifications if caught, why would anyone post so much information? do you not think that it is looked at and tracked in one way or another? for those who have been around it for a while, they know the good ones come and go, the way it is, and along with that, users are also effected through court rulings.
simple advise, think really hard if you want to be doing this, understand the risk you are taking. can you afford to cough up $3500-$5000 if you get a letter from a lawyer? if you decide the risk is worth it for yourself, then be a lurker.
its not kindergarten time any more, if you get caught doing something, you will be fined, not just have to miss recess. for that simple fact alone, responses need to be stern and to the point, just like the ramifications if caught.

I totally agree but as he named one a liar, a second a goof and a third an idiot all in the same thread. I would not want to believe that this insulting behavior is standard treatment he employs but that perhaps his language skills are limited so resorts to insults to express himself. Some people whose primary language is other than English find it difficult to communicate in an adult manor using English. Many resort to insults and cursing. Perhaps this is true in this case.
