just wondering, if all 3 receiver are the same has anyone loaded the hd pro with a iptv file to get iptv, working on that receiver?

Why would they sell 3 different boxes then if all you had to do was "load a file".......... think about it..:rolleyes:

I thought that maybe the 3 receivers had the same inner workings and that the software loaded to them would make the difference.

your right, the receivers are all the same, the software is receiver model specific and not interchangeable

Ive read online of others testing all 3 files on the pinwheel mini and they all work.I never yried it myself but ive been checking into it as I bought one new and am curious

Iptv model is for the iptv file...
When moving things around its when problems pop up !!

test it and find out..worst case scenario you brick and everyone learns from your mistakes

I decided to try the iptv file on my pro, it loaded the file ok but lost all settings for the server list, all blank. iptv gives me a message Contact service provider. it was worth the shot, had to find out if it would work or not. loaded my pro file again didn't have anything in my server list, so started cobra cam and everything is back to normal.

That's a conflicting statement. If they're all the same receiver then switching firmware shouldn't matter & the box should provide the features written into the firmware.
