Jynxbox V2 server connection failure

Hi

I just switched over to a new IKS and am having problems with a sever connection. I inputed the information received and have triple checked it with another person. The receiver states that i have a connection initially but when i check to watch a channel just a black screen. I try starting the box and then i get a sever connection failure notice. Anyone have any ideas?

Not familiar with the system but try the WiFi and cable 1 at the time after a Hard Boot (receiver OFF with rear switch 10 seconds and then ON) and select a channel you know it normally works, I have read in multiple threads and forums that a single character like a cap letter a dot replaced with a coma accidentally thinking the dot was selected can cause this issues, I know you said you triple checked but re check by entering the data again............Turbo

Thanks for the reply. Ive figured out a few things. The receiver is able to connect to the sever it just takes some time but even once connected to the server I still only get a black screen when i try and watch something.

we figured out the problem i had a miscommunication with zoogor. He had given me a dn sever connection but im on bev. I have to thank zoogor for spending the time to figure this out with me.

You're Welcome......my friend told me something about the issue you are having, I kind of saw a bit of logic but like always lost. he said when receiver show you connected but a black screen is because the server side might be on a cloudy day so you will be connected to server but nothing of data to start image....
Remember I just quoting my friends theory...
